Batson Haines is a duo comprised of Nashville-based singer/songwriters Jeff Batson and Eric Haines. Eric and Jeff are both seasoned performers who relocated to Nashville after many years of honing their crafts around their respective hometowns of Frederick, Maryland, and Cahokia, Illinois. Jeff was nominated for a Grammy for co-writing the title track of TracyLawrence's gospel release, "The Rock." His music has been recorded by numerous other artists, as well as used in national advertising campaigns. Eric is a gifted musician, writer and producer with a number of outside credits to his name. His music has been featured on the nationally syndicated Phil Valentine show. Their vocal blend is reminiscent of classic acts like Loggins & Messina and England Dan & John Ford Coley, while their songs will appeal to anyone who enjoys good, honest music. They like to say they write "real songs about real life." Their cover song list is expansive and includes a variety of classic rock, country and blues favorites. A Batson Haines live show packs a punch that rivals any of their country music contemporaries like Brooks & Dunn, Big & Rich and Montgomery Gentry.
